Biden’s brain short-circuits in first 30 seconds of interview show why so many fear his re-election

In an interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, President Joe Biden gave Americans more cause for concern with his comments on several critical issues.

Most puzzling was his rambling response to a question within the first 30 seconds of the interview. I will see:

Despite polling data indicating his age is a vulnerability with voters, Biden suggested bad press was to blame for his negative approval ratings.

“Well, I don’t think people, by the way, all the majors who won re-election their poll numbers were where mine are now,” Biden falsely claimed.

According to the Ipsos/Reuters poll, President Joe Biden’s approval rating is 39% and his disapproval rating is 54%. As the Gallup poll noted in a 2020 article, “Historically, all incumbents with approval ratings of 50% or higher have won reelection, and presidents with approval ratings well below 50 % have lost”.

“Surveys aside, then,” Ruhle interjected. “The feeling in this country, despite all these victories, is not very good.”

“All they’ve heard is negative news for three years,” Biden responded. “Everything is negative. I am not criticizing the press. If you turn on the TV, the only way you’re going to get a hit is if it’s something negative.”

According to Pew Research, Joe Biden has received the least negative coverage of any modern president, despite presiding over record inflation, gas price hikes, an ongoing border crisis, a disastrous withdrawal from the Afghan war, unconstitutional proxy wars and a growing economic recession.

“Analyzing coverage among seven news organizations, Biden received only a 19% negative rating compared to 62% for President Donald Trump, 20% for President Barack Obama, 28% for President George W. Bush and 28% of President Bill Clinton, Pew Research found.” the Washington Times reported.

Biden also addressed questions about his fitness for office and his intention to run for re-election as the longest-serving president in US history.

“I have gained a lot of wisdom and I know more than the vast majority of people,” the president said. “I have more experience than anyone who has ever run for office. And I think I’ve proven myself to be honorable and effective,” Biden said.

Joe Biden has spent his career in public office, having spent seven terms in the Senate and two terms as vice president. This record contrasts with the experience of presidents who have served during wartime, such as Dwight D. Eisenhower, who led the Allied Forces as Supreme Commander in World War II, such as John F. Kennedy of PT-109 fame, and George HW Bush. , who was a World War II fighter pilot and former head of the CIA.

As for serving “honorably,” there are multiple ethical questions hanging over the Biden presidency. There are serious problems with Joe Biden’s involvement with his son Hunter Biden’s business affairs. There’s the matter of Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal, which contrasts with the FBI’s attack on former President Donald Trump under less problematic circumstances. There is also evidence of White House collusion with the Department of Justice to help the Manhattan District Attorney indict former President Trump before the 2024 election, thereby committing “election interference.”

Joe Biden’s lack of mental acuity, multiple distortions of the truth, and seriously flawed record as president should give American voters pause before deciding to re-elect him for another four years, especially amid serious challenges national and ongoing crises.
