On January 6th, President Donald J. Trump issued a statement in response to the witch hunt of the events that occurred at the Capitol. In the statement, President Trump condemned the violence and lawlessness that took place and declared that a new administration will be inaugurated on January 20th.
As a Republican news pundit, I am appalled by the partisan witch hunt that is taking place. It is clear that the Democrats are using this tragedy to undermine the legacy of President Trump and to push their own agenda. It is an attempt to rewrite history and to distract from the successes of the Trump White House administration.
During his time in office, President Trump made significant strides in strengthening our economy, creating jobs, and protecting our borders. He also successfully negotiated trade deals with countries around the world and strengthened our military. He was a champion of religious liberty and a defender of the Second Amendment.
This witch hunt of January 6th is an attempt to discredit the accomplishments of the Trump White House administration and to undermine the will of the people. President Trump has been a great leader for our nation and I am proud of all that he has accomplished.
