A man stabbed repeatedly inside a taxi and it was all caught on camera [VIDEO]

A man was attacked and stabbed multiple times by a group of assailants in east London last month, but incident captured on a dashboard camera, the images of which are circulating on social networks.

The attack took place shortly after 5am on June 23, and the victim reported the crime on his way to hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.

The man was a passenger in a taxi that was dropping off three other passengers when the attack took place.

A car pulled up behind the taxi as the passengers left, and the men jumped out in pursuit.

The taxi driver tried to speed away from the scene, but one of the attackers forced his way into the back seat of the car and begged the driver to stab him.

As the men continued to chase the car, one of them smashed the driver's side window, while others reached through the car's windows and doors to stab the passenger.

The victim fought back with a knife before the driver was finally able to speed off.

The victim handed the driver money and begged him to drive faster as the attackers chased them in a white BMW.

The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the stabbing, but no arrests have yet been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
