Schumer had initially posted a photo, with a wide smile, in front of a grill loaded with hamburgers and hot dogs. He expressed his joy that his daughter and his wife recently bought a house with a backyard, which allowed them to have a barbecue for the first time. He tweeted: “Father's Day Heaven!”

However, commentators wasted no time in taking Schumer to task. They questioned his decision to place a piece of cheese on a cake before it was fully baked. One user cheekily commented: “Chuck I love you man but you put the cheese on AFTER the burger is cooked.” Another suggested cooking the burger longer.

Chuck Schumer is 73 years old. Surprisingly, he still hasn't mastered the art of cooking a simple burger.
However, some people inexplicably have faith in their leadership and believe their Democratic Party thinks gas stoves are bad for the planet, but gas grills are good.

However, amid the onslaught of criticism, some came to Schumer's defense. One user clarified that the patty was actually a veggie burger under a slice of tofu. Another user empathized, sharing a personal grilling mishap and praising Schumer for doing better.
