Moments after a gag order against former President Donald Trump was reinstated on Thursday, he took to Truth Social to bash the wife of the presiding judge.
In the posts, Trump called out Judge Arthur Engoron’s wife, Dawn Engoron, accusing her of posting anti-Trump memes on social media. The posts included screenshots of their alleged rants on social media.
“This is the judge’s wife and family pushing this stuff out. I have no right to serve on the Jury under this Statute. Can this be happening in America? This is the most unfair trial in the history of New York, and I’ve had some pretty unfair trials!” the former president wrote alongside the screenshots.
Look at (*Language notice):
The memes were discovered earlier this month by far-right activist Laura Loomer.
“Conservative activist Laura Loomer accused Dawn Engoron of having an X account that frequently posted anti-Trump messages against the former president, whose civil business fraud trial is currently being overseen by Judge Engoron. The judge has faced his criticisms and Loomer’s claims prompted people to call for a mistrial in Trump’s case.” Newsweek reported at the beginning of the month.
The only problem is that Dawn has denied that the account in question is hers.
“I do not have a Twitter account. This is not me. I have not posted any messages against Trump,” he said in a statement to Newsweek.
If that’s the case, it’s still unclear whether Trump posting screenshots of account X’s tweets will count as a violation of his gag order.

The gag order was originally issued in October, but was later stayed pending an appeal. However, this Thursday the matter was finally resolved in the judge’s favor, meaning the gag order is back in place.
“A New York appeals court has reinstated a gag order barring former President Donald Trump and lawyers from making public statements about courtroom staff in the ongoing $250 million civil fraud trial “, as reported. CNN.
“Judge Arthur Engoron originally issued the order barring Trump from making public statements about his court personnel after Trump made numerous comments about a clerk, who Trump says is biased against him,” CNN notes.
In October, Trump posted a photo on Truth Social of Judge Engoron’s clerk posing with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. In the post, the former president mockingly referred to her as “Schumer’s girlfriend.”
The charge resulted in the secretary being harassed.
“Hundreds of threats were made public last week against Engoron and the law clerk. Engoron’s clerk has been receiving 20 to 30 calls a day on his personal cell phone and 30 to 50 messages a day on social media platforms and two personal email addresses, according to court documents,” according to CNN.
The judge was not happy.
“This morning one of the defendants posted on (a) social media account a false and personally identifiable derogatory post about a member of my staff. Although I have since ordered the post to be removed and , apparently, was also emailed to millions of other recipients,” the judge told the court.

Back to the present day, Engoron made it abundantly clear in court on Thursday that he intends to fully enforce the gag order.
“I intend to enforce the gag orders rigorously and vigorously. I want to make sure that counsel informs his clients that the stay has been vacated,” he said.
“It’s a tragic day for the rule of law, but we’re aware of it,” Trump’s lawyer, Chris Kise, would have replied.
“It is what it is,” Engoron replied.
In response to the reissuance of the gag order, Trump supporters (and even some Trump haters) on social media cried foul.

That’s fine, we’ll be their voice and let everyone know about their ethical misconduct. They can’t put gag orders on all of us.

This has to go to the Supreme Court for a final decision. Trump should violate the order at every opportunity. I don’t like the guy or support him, but he is an American citizen and has rights.

They will do absolutely everything they can to silence him. New York State is corrupted by Democrats and if you live there I suggest you get out now because it’s only going to get worse. Continue if you agree
