On a day when the terrorist organization Hamas released the first group of hostages taken during its sneak attack on Israel, President Joe Biden said he does not know when the American captives will be freed or if they are still alive.
The Democratic leader took a break from his traditional Thanksgiving weekend vacation on the elegant island of Nantucket off the coast of Massachusetts to address the press after the release of 24 hostages on Friday, with no Americans among them, in a swap with Hamas that included 39 Palestinian prisoners. who were released from Israeli prisons.
“Yesterday, families across America gathered with their loved ones to give thanks,” he said. “Today we can also be thankful that families have been recruited and reunited with their loved ones who have been held hostage for almost 50 days.”

Biden also patted himself on the back for the four-day ceasefire in Gaza, a pause in the fighting that much of his rabidly anti-Israel base has been clamoring for, and ultimately his tantrum during a few weeks paid off.
“As of this morning, under an agreement reached by extensive American diplomacy, including numerous calls I have made from the Oval Office to leaders throughout the region, fighting in Gaza will cease for four days,” he said.
“As I said, today’s launch is the beginning of a process. We expect more hostages to be released tomorrow and more the day after that and more the day after that. Over the next few days, we expect dozens of hostages to be returned to their families,” Biden added.
Asked by a reporter when the Americans who were kidnapped by the murderous savages would also be released, the president had no answer.

“Mr. President, when will the first American hostages be released, since none are included today? asked the reporter.
Biden responded, “We don’t know when it’s going to happen, but we will, we hope it happens. And we don’t know what the list of all the hostages is and when they’re going to be released, but we know the numbers that are going to be released. So it’s my hope and expectation that it will be soon.”
The reporter pressed, “And of the 10 Americans who are missing, do you know all their conditions? Are they all alive?”
“We don’t know all their conditions,” Biden replied, suggesting it’s a mystery whether they’re still alive or not.
After he finished, Biden went back to his priorities and went shopping.

During the press briefing, Biden also appeared to suggest that Islamist savages attacked in order to thwart his efforts to bring peace to the Middle East.
“I’m hearing a lot of things, but I’m not going to talk about them right now. There’s an overwhelming desire on the part of the region to… let me back up. I can’t prove what I’m about to say, but I think one of the reasons Hamas attacked when it did was that they knew it was working very closely with the Saudis and others in the region to bring peace to the region by having the recognition of Israel and the right of Israel to exist,” he said.
