Morell testified that he organized the letter to “help Vice President Biden… because I wanted him to win the election.” This admission raises serious questions about the motivations behind the letter and the objectivity of the intelligence officials who signed it.
According to Jordan, Brennan’s testimony confirmed that the letter was “all political.” This suggests that the letter was not based on any actual intelligence or concern for national security but was instead an attempt to protect the Biden campaign from damaging allegations.
