Russell Brand drops the truth bomb about Big Pharma’s plan to keep America in perpetual crisis

Russell Brand, a popular comedian and podcaster, appeared on “Real Time” with Bill Maher and dropped a few “truth bombs” that even made the politically incorrect host uncomfortable.

“So can I say something?” Brand asked.

“Please, please,” Maher urged.

“If they bother you, I’ll stop telling them,” he said.

“The pandemic created at least 40 new Big Pharma billionaires,” it began. “Pharmaceutical corporations like Moderna and Pfizer were making $1,000 per second in profits from the Covid-19 vaccine. More than two-thirds of Congress received campaign funding from pharmaceutical companies in the 2020 election. Pfizer Chairman Albert Bourla he told Time magazine in July 2020 that this company was developing a Covid vaccine for the good of humanity, not for money. And of course, Pfizer made a hundred billion dollars in profit by 2022.” .

“And I can just mention finally, and these are, this is also a fact that you, the American public, funded the development of this,” he continued as Maher tried to move on. “The German fund publicly financed the BioNTech vaccine when it came to the profits. They took the profits when it came to the financing. You paid the financing.”

“Okay,” Maher said. “But I’ll just add one thing. They may be greedy capitalists who made a lot of money. And there are also a lot of people who did need the vaccine. There are a lot of people who needed the vaccine. I didn’t, I never wanting to be told I was one of them to get it. But there are a lot of people who needed this vaccine and would be dead without it. That’s true, too.”

“All I ask is this,” replied Brand. “If you have an economic system where pharmaceutical companies profit enormously from medical emergencies, where a military industrial complex profits from war, where energy companies profit from energy crises, you will generate states of perpetual crisis.”

“For the interest of the common people separated from the interest of the elites”, he added.

Brand had recently made a similar point on the Joe Rogan Show. Rogan seemed much more receptive to Brand’s point.

Both Russell Brand and Joe Rogan are right when they say that the elites are profiting from the whole crisis going on and it’s hurting everyone else and the only way out is for ALL of us, whether you are online. left or right to meet and… https://t.co/i3PWafw9xH pic.twitter.com/fP1x6RRZzv

“How can you have energy companies profiting when there’s an energy crisis, a military industrial complex profiting when there’s a war, pharmaceutical companies profiting when there’s a pandemic… they’re creating the need for a ongoing crisis,” he argued.

“Yeah,” Rogan commented.

“If the elites in a society benefit from situations that are detrimental to everyone else, that’s what will become the reality,” Brand continued.

“Exactly,” Rogan commented.

“It’s become,” Brand added.

“This is such an important point,” Rogan said.

It is also important not to lose sight of the role of the government as a supporter of these states of perpetual crisis. When the state is captured by the elites who then put it at the service of their own agenda, and not that of the people, revolutionary conditions can arise to fundamentally transform the socio-economic order.

However, the underlying cause of revolutionary conditions may be that the state had become too powerful to begin with, moving away from the constitutional order of federalism, limited government, and individual rights.

Thus, government corruption is the root problem, and not the free market system, per se; indeed, socialist systems tend to be even more corrupt and wealth disparity even more exacerbated.

Russell Brand’s point is outstanding. But we must make sure to fully explore possible solutions to the problem. True capitalists and socialists can agree that corporatism is the real danger and act together to stop it before it is too late.
