Thanks to AI and the Internet of Bodies (IoB) ecosystem, the decoding of the human brain is already underway, according to a presentation at the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Five years after historian Yuval Noah Harari told the WEF that humans were hackable and organisms were algorithms, Harari’s ideas have been fully realized.
Thursday’s WEF 2023 Annual Meeting session on “Prepared for brain transparency?” opened with a short video showing a dystopian scenario in which employees’ brain waves were not only decoded to determine their performance in the workplace, but also to determine whether they engaged in illegal activities.
Although the scenario in the video below is fictitious, the technological framework is already in place.
