On January 6, 2021, Assistant US Attorney Anita Eve subpoenaed freelance reporter Steve Baker for all the footage he captured in and around the Capitol. His subpoena suggests the DOJ is investigating him for criminal charges.
During an issue of Espais on August 7 on X (formerly Twitter), Mr. Baker stated, “They want to silence me.”
Mr. Baker was ordered to report to Washington on August 16 to turn in his materials.
