Democrats are calling for Fani Willis to impeach Jim Jordan to investigate corruption

Democrats are outraged that House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) is investigating alleged corruption in the Georgia case against President Donald Trump and are calling for retaliation.

In response to Jordan’s request for information in the get-Trump case, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis accused the congressman of “obstruction.”

Willis criticized Jordan in a letter, claiming his investigations are “flagrantly at odds with the Constitution.”

Willis wrote in part:

“Your attempt to invoke the authority of Congress to interfere and interfere with an active criminal case in Georgia is blatantly unconstitutional.

“The defendants in this case have been charged under state law with committing state crimes.

“There is absolutely no support for Congress seeking to second-guess or in any way oversee an ongoing Georgia criminal investigation and prosecution.”

Meanwhile, the letter has Democrats foaming at the mouth.

MSNBC legal analyst Glenn Kirschner suggested that Willis bring the obstruction evidence against Jordan to a Georgia grand jury.

Kirschner wants Willis to investigate whether Jordan could face criminal charges.

Kirschner shared:

“DA Fani Willis has announced that Jim Jordan is ‘interfering’ and ‘obstructing’ the Georgia RICO prosecution of Donald Trump.

“Accordingly, evidence of Jordan’s obstruction must be presented to a GA grand jury to assess whether there is probable cause to criminally charge Jordan.”

Anti-Trump Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) also weighed in on the issue with an unsurprising response.

“Jim Jordan’s efforts to use the House Judiciary Committee to interfere with the prosecutions of Trump in New York, GA and by the DOJ are as abusive of the congressional process as they are destructive of the justice system,” said Schiff, who is accused of falsifying evidence during multiple congressional investigations.

“They are another prime example of the GOP’s bottomless, endless obedience to their corrupt leader.”

On Friday, the Fulton County grand jury’s special report was released.

The report suggests that Willis handpicked who to charge in connection with the Georgia election case.

Like Slay News reportedthe report shows that Sen. Linsey Graham, as well as former Sens. Davide Perdue and Kelly Loeffler were also recommended for office.

However, Willis saved them.

Willis claims he was only following the recommendations of the grand jury and yet did not charge everyone who was recommended with charges.

White House Correspondent Simon Ateba shared:

“SNORING – YOUR REACTION: The Fulton County special grand jury recommended indicting Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, along with former Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler of Georgia.

“The recommendation appears in a grand jury report released Friday by the special counsel.

“However, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis did not indict Graham or Perdue when she recently indicted former President Donald Trump and 18 co-defendants in an alleged racketeering case.

“The decision to follow the recommendations of the special grand jury ultimately rests with the district attorney.”
