Electors in Missouri's 1st Congressional District handed over sent a clear message Tuesday by denying Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., a third term in office.

Bell, a more moderate candidate with strong support from pro-Israel groups, emerged victorious after those groups invested heavily in his campaign to unseat Bush because of his controversial stance on Israel.
This defeat marks the second defeat for a member of the ultra-progressive faction following the defeat of Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., to another pro-Israel moderate.
