The corrupt corporate media are scrambling to pick up the pieces of their broken January 6th “uprising” narrative after Tucker Carlson dropped several bombshell videos on it last night.
Brian Sicknick lies. Ray Epps lies. Shaman Q Anon lies. All critical components of the state media fairy tale were prepared for the American people to shut down election objections on January 6 and cast Donald Trump as a dangerous traitor who should never run for office again. presidency
It’s not going well.
CNN reacted by putting PR reporter Oliver Darcy on the air and then reading a heartbreaking statement from Sicknick’s family on the air, which nonetheless sought to get Americans to stop asking questions. I will see:
“The news of the day was that there was an insurrection, it was the hundreds of people that caused damage and injuries and the insurrection,” said Alysin Camerota. “I think he might be missing that day’s headline.”
“And how they got to the capitol by overrunning the Capitol Police,” he stated. “That, that, that’s, that’s a key part of it, obviously.”
Is. So it remains a mystery why the massive 20,000-pound Columbus gates were opened to protesters. Or why the Capitol Police invited protesters into the building, saying things like, “I don’t agree with it, but I respect what you’re trying to do.” Or even worse, why did at least nine Capitol Police officers pose as “shaman Q Anon” (an inappropriate name for a hippie climate activist and former actor) Jacob Chansley was given a virtual “guided tour” of the Capitol building. Even the agents held the door open for him, he thanked them and gave him a stage in a Senate room to make a ‘patriotic’ speech full of bromides.
The Tucker Carlson video that aired Monday night is therefore a missing piece in the video that has been around for a long time, such as the footage of this reporter published by the New Yorker.
CNN guest Ken Burns, a documentary filmmaker, compared Tucker Carlson’s revelations to propaganda by the Soviets and Nazis.

But CNN wasn’t the only outlet to lose it over Tucker’s footage. CBS Morning lashed out against airing the footage.

“This morning after Fox News host Tucker Carlson aired previously unseen video of the capital assault on his show last night,” the host said. “What Carlson did was use selected clips from surveillance tapes provided to him by Speaker Kevin McCarthy to falsely claim that reporters and lawmakers lied about the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.”
“Last night’s narrative ignores the tens of thousands of pages of court records we have read, and the tonnage of images already released by the Justice Department and shown in open court ignores the powerful accounts and sometimes tearful from injured officers who are testifying under oath,” said reporter Scott MacFarland. “Carlson called Jan. 6, mostly peaceful and meek with a small percentage that was violent. He showed limited edited footage Monday night on his show that draws an audience of 3.5 million viewers and pointed to footage of “a few demonstrators rummaging through the halls of Congress”.
This is a manufactured reactionary narrative that the corporate media is trotting out to desperately cling to their “insurgency” narrative, which is unraveling before their very eyes. Tucker Carlson’s video is a direct indictment of the selective images that the Democratic-led House and the mainstream media have been feeding Americans on January 6 for nearly two years.
The court documents and the violence that day and the tearful accounts of the officers never proved that Donald Trump incited an insurrection or that anyone other than Ashli Babbitt was killed as a result of the violence or that Brian Sicknick be killed by Trump supporters or that there is a good reason. Ray Epps was not charged for his actions that day nor that there was a serious threat to “democracy”.
No, the “threat to democracy” is a state that knowingly lies to the people and a media that covers it up. This is what the American people are facing now. And that’s why Tucker Carlson’s journalism is so important.
