Body camera footage of the aftermath of Trump's assassination attempt has been released [VIDEOS]

In a move to shed light on the events following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has released the full body camera footage obtained from law enforcement locals

This footage, filmed within an hour of the attack, was acquired from the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit (ESU) in response to requests from Congress.

The released videos reveal instances of Beaver County ESU officers and US Secret Service (USSS) personnel accessing the roof, collecting evidence and responding immediately after the attempt on Trump's life.

Senator Grassley's examination of the footage has raised concerns about fragmented and delayed communication between local and federal law enforcement.

Additionally, there appears to have been a delayed response in identifying and neutralizing a potential detonating device, including one found next to the dead shooter.

Additionally, the video captures law enforcement discussing the need to use a drone to inspect and secure the water tower at the site.

Records obtained by Grassley state that the Secret Service had deployed an Unmanned Aerial System drone operator to the event.

Interestingly, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the House Judiciary Committee, stating that the attacker had reportedly operated his own drone around the site two hours before launching the attack.

Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri revealed that The Secret Service apparently rejected offers of drone surveillance at a rally in Pennsylvania where former President Donald Trump narrowly avoided an assassination attempt.
