There is definitely something wrong with not being able to swim. We live on a planet that is 71% covered in water, so the chances that you need this skill to survive are pretty high. You are doing yourself a disservice by not learning to swim. It’s so much easier than most that you wouldn’t believe. Most non-swimmers drown because they panic, when simply relaxing could save them. Do yourself a favor and find a friend with a pool and learn. Note that I didn’t say “join the Y or go to a public pool.” I would not encourage anyone to bathe in other people’s urine. Summer is here where I am, so as soon as it gets warm enough where you are, make learning to swim a mission. Your life or the life of a loved one could one day depend on you having this skill.
