A Biden delegate scheduled to attend the Democratic National Convention predicts a “bloodbath” in November if the president remains on the ticket.
President Joe Biden faces growing questions about cognitive issues after poor performance on CNN June 27 debate with former President Donald Trump during which Biden frozen at times, he made multiple verbal errors and seemed to lose his train of thought. Rishi Kumar told CNN anchor Laura Coates Tuesday night that Democrats could suffer losses in House and Senate races if Biden remains on the ticket.
“If Biden ends up running, the Democrats could potentially lose the Senate, the House and the White House and it's going to be a bloodbath,” Kumar told Coates. “The blue states that we've held for many decades can turn red. Trump is doing well when he's running against Biden in those states and then the swing states, the battleground states, look terrible.”

“So at this point, all the polls are saying Trump is going to win,” Kumar continued.
The Cook Political Report, a leading nonpartisan campaign monitor, moved Arizona, Georgia and Nevada moved from “gone” to “lean Republican” in an update that also saw the 2nd Congressional District of Nebraska, Minnesota and New Hampshire from “likely Democratic” to “lean Democratic” since the 27th debate of July An Ipsos survey released On July 2, he proved that only former First Lady Michelle Obama could beat former President Trump.
Kumar said Democrats needed to find “the best” alternative to Biden to challenge Trump in the November election.
“We need to send the best and the brightest to run against Trump,” Kumar said. “He's a winner, but we have to send someone who has the energy of a commander-in-chief. We've had great leaders here in Silicon Valley, and companies thrive on good leaders.”
I just finished a live interview @cnn @thelauracoates LauraCoates live. Discuss the reasons why Biden should give way to younger, more energetic Democrats and stop the bleeding of the Democratic Party.
