Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz lampooned FBI Director Christopher Wray in an exchange of fire during congressional testimony Wednesday morning.

“‘I’m sitting here with my father, I’m going to make sure that between the man sitting next to me and everyone he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you regret not following my lead , I’m sitting here waiting for the call with my dad,” Gaetz said, referring to a WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to a Chinese businessman. “Sounds like a jolt, doesn’t it? Headmaster?”

“I’m not going to comment on that,” Wray replied. It should be noted that the FBI director did not take the opportunity to clear things up.

“You, you, seem profoundly uninterested in this, don’t you?” Gaetz commented. “Almost suspiciously uncurious. Are you protecting the Bidens?”

“Absolutely not,” Wray replied. “The FBI does…”

But Gaetz cut him off as Wray slowed the charge.

“You’re not going to answer the question about whether or not this is a shakedown and everybody knows why you’re not going to answer it,” the deputy replied. “Because the millions of people who will see this, they know it is. And your inability to recognize that is deeply revealing about you.

Last month, explosive testimony from a whistleblower revealed that Hunter Biden had sent a WhatsApp message allegedly with his father in court coercing a Chinese state-affiliated national named Henry Zhao into what appears to be a transaction illicit

Hunter had sent the threatening message to Harvest Fund Management director Henry Zhao, saying he was “sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment has not been fulfilled”.

“Tell the director I’d like to get this resolved now before it gets out of hand, and by now he means tonight,” the now 53-year-old said. “And Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the president, I will make sure that between the man sitting next to me and everyone I know and the my ability to endure forever.a grudge you’ll regret not following my lead.

As Rep. Claudius Tenney (R-NY) explained in a thread, it’s highly plausible that Joe Biden was actually in the room with Hunter Biden when the alleged threat was made.

“Hunter Biden’s laptop photos place the president’s son at the Biden family’s Wilmington Delaware home on the same day the WhatsApp message was sent: July 30, 2017,” it said.

In addition, there are bank records confirming that Zhao sent over $5 million to Hunter Biden ten days later and then transferred over $1 million to Joe Biden’s brother’s consulting firm. The bank then closed his account on suspicion of money laundering.

Ken Vogel of the New York Times reported that “Within 10 days of Hunter Biden’s WhatsApp message to the Chinese official associated with CEFC, a subsidiary of CEFC sent 2 payments totaling $5.1 million to linked accounts to Hunter, according to records cited in the Senate GOP investigation.”.

It now remains to be seen whether Hunter Biden’s “sweetheart” plea deal will hold up in court, allowing the president’s son to escape prison on three misdemeanor charges against him.
