The woman who died was the daughter of real-life character (Ukrainian) Sean Connery in The Hunt for Red October. Her husband was also an attorney at the firm (Latham & Watkins) that at the time of the raid was representing Michael Sussman, one of Clinton’s attorneys from Perkins Coie whom Durham was pursuing, so clearly Deep State.
My view is that it was a Russian GRU success because it happened before the war when the rhetoric was getting heavy. His father was Soviet royalty and was still involved with the Ukrainian military.
What involved Baldwin was Kremlin trolling, which we all know played Jack Ryan in the movie. Especially since the KGB agent/political operative that Connery kills at the beginning of the movie is named Ivan Putin in the book and the movie.
