Alarming study finds 25% of 3-4 year olds own smartphones | louder.news

A study by the government's communications regulator in the UK has found that a quarter of 3-4 year olds have smartphones.

Yes, you read that right, 25% of kids barely older than toddlers own an i-Phone or similar device.

In fact, Ofcom's study found that a quarter of all children under the age of 7 have a smart device, an increase of around 5 per cent in a year.

The data for children under 7 was provided by their parents, so the actual number could be much higher if some parents chose to be liberal with the truth.
