Activists angry that so-called Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs are being tarnished by suicide

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is facing backlash for publishing a story about some racial whistleblowers who are angry that their beloved diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs are being tarnished.

Whistleblowers are particularly upset that the suicide of a “progressive” Toronto principal is being used to lobby against their programs. Never mind the reported fact that the director, Richard Bilkszto, 60, killed himself after allegedly being harassed during one of these DEI programs.

“He filed a lawsuit against the school board earlier this year, related to a 2021 online anti-racism training session where he claims the coach implicitly referred to him as a white supremacist and criticized him in front of of his peers when he disagreed with it. Canada was more racist than the US,” CBC admitted, to its credit.

But instead of setting out the allegations in detail, the document focused entirely on claims by whistleblowers that the allegations are false.

“Kike Ojo-Thompson, executive director of the KOJO Institute and an anti-racism trainer accused of defaming Bilkszto, said the allegations are false and mischaracterize what happened,” the CBC reported.

“Ojo-Thompson calls Bilkszto’s death a tragedy and offers her condolences to his family, but also said his death has been used as a weapon to discredit and suppress anti-racism efforts,” he continued .

For the real story, read The Free Press, a non-establishment media outlet started by heretics Bari Weiss and Nelly Bowles.

The true story points out, for example, exactly what Ojo-Thompson had said to Bilkszto when he challenged the idea that Canada is more racist than the US.

“What I find interesting is that, in the midst of this Covid disaster, where the inequalities in this fair and equal healthcare system have been correctly demonstrated to all of us. . . you and your whiteness think you can tell me what’s really going on with black people, like, that’s what you’re doing, because I think that’s what you’re doing, but I’m not sure, so I’m doing it . I’ll make room for you to tell me what you’re doing now,” he had said.

The Free Press even published the corresponding audio material:

Unfortunately, this blatantly racist recrimination was only the beginning of Bilkszto’s “painful two-year descent into an ordeal of public shaming and isolation that only ended when he took his own life last month,” according to The Free Press.

“He was distraught,” said Michael Teper, a friend of Bilkszto’s.

“They not only took away his job, but his reputation, because these same people were assassinating his character. They claimed he was a white supremacist, that he was a racist. They knew nothing about him. They knew nothing of what he stood for or what he believed. All they know is what they believe,” he added.

Teper is not cited anywhere in the CBC reports, surprise, surprise. As noted above, the CBC made sure to tell only one side of the story: the side most favorable to the race-obsessed leftist agenda.

As a result, the newspaper has been classified on Twitter.

Look at:

WSIB is short for the Workers’ Safety and Insurance Board, which is basically an agency that protects workers.

An investigation by the WSIB found that Ojo-Thompson’s behavior towards Bilkszto “was abusive, egregious and vexatious, and rises to the level of workplace harassment and bullying”.

Guess what wasn’t included in the alleged CBC “report”…
