Kamala Considers Arms Embargo Against Israel, Still Getting Dirty In Detroit [VIDEO]

Kamala Harris hinted Wednesday that she might consider an arms embargo against Israel in an attempt to court so-called “uncommitted” Arab and Muslim voters in Michigan.

According to the News from New YorkHarris met briefly with Abbas Alawieh and Layla Elabed, co-founders of the National Uncommitted Movement, before their rally in Detroit.

That group, which has mobilized voters in Michigan to withhold support from Joe Biden because of his support for Israel in the Gaza conflict, pressed Harris to support an arms embargo.

They said many in Michigan have lost family members to the violence and want Harris to act to end it.

Harris listened to their concerns and indicated a willingness to consider the garnishment request. He introduced Alawieh and Elabed to his staff, indicating a possible change in his stance.

During his speech later that day, Harris faced questioning from pro-Palestinian protesters who chanted: “Kamala, Kamala, you can't hide. We're not going to vote for genocide.”

Harris first tried to placate the protesters, calling their input a welcome part of “democracy,” but later admonished them, suggesting their actions could help Trump's campaign.

Harris' move to win over the anti-Israel faction of his party was also reflected in his choice of running mate.

He passed over Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who is Jewish and has previously made strong pro-Israel statements, in favor of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
