When he is an independent candidate for the presidency Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Green Party candidate Cornel West join the group, Trump maintains his lead over Biden. However, the president takes a small lead in Michigan.
The poll finds Trump with a four-point lead over Biden in a hypothetical head-to-head race in Arizona. Of the 800 registered voters surveyed, 46 percent would support Trump and 42 percent would support Biden. Another four percent of Arizona voters would not vote, while eight percent would be undecided.
The margin of error (MOE) in Arizona is plus or minus three percentage points.
Trump maintains a four-point lead over Biden as West and Kennedy enter the fray. Trump’s support drops to 40 percent, while Biden sees a loss of support equal to 36 percent. Kennedy takes eleven percent of the response, while West gets one percent in the Grand Canyon state. Nine percent are undecided on the scenario.
In Georgia, Trump has a seven-point lead over Biden in a two-man race with 48 percent and 41 percent, respectively. Four percent would stay out of the election and seven percent would be undecided. As the field expands, so does Trump’s leadership. In a four-way race, Trump receives 43% support, while Biden drops to 34%. Ten percent of respondents support Kennedy, one percent support West, while three percent would support another candidate and six percent are undecided.
The Georgia survey included responses from 803 participants taken from October 30 to November 4, and the MOE is plus or minus three percent.
Trump has a three-point lead over Biden in Nevada. He gets 46 percent of the vote in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup with Biden’s 43 percent. Another six percent would not vote and five percent are undecided.
The 45th president’s lead increases to four points when Kennedy and West are included in the poll, taking 39 percent of the response to Biden’s 35 percent. Kennedy follows with eleven percent, and West rounds out the field with one percent. Another three percent would support someone else, and eight percent would be undecided in that scenario in the silver state.
The Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll showed 437 registered voters in Nevada from Oct. 30 to Nov. 7, and the MOE is plus or minus five percentage points.
Trump has his biggest lead over Biden in North Carolina, 48 percent to 39 percent in a two-way race. Nine percent are undecided and five percent would leave the election. Trump’s lead is unchanged in a deeper race, with 42 percent backing the 45th president and 33 percent backing Biden. Nine percent of North Carolina’s 702 registered voters support Kennedy, while two percent are behind West. Three percent prefer someone else and nine percent are not sure who they would support.
North Carolina voters were polled from October 30 to November 3, and the MOE is within plus or minus four percentage points.
In Pennsylvania, 47 percent of voters are rallying behind Trump in a contest with only Biden, who gets 44 percent support. Five percent of voters would not vote in the election if these were their options, and five percent would be undecided. Trump leads the pack in a four-way race with 41 percent, while Biden ranks second with 38 percent and Kennedy follows with 8 percent. Another one percent of respondents support the West, while three percent would support someone else, and 7 percent are undecided.
Morning Consult showed 805 registered voters from October 30 to November 2. It has an MOE of more or less three percent.
Trump also narrowly leads Biden in Wisconsin in a straight race and a deeper field among 675 registered voters. Of those polled, 47% support Trump in a head-to-head matchup with Biden, who gets 46% of the response. Their lead grows to two points with Kennedy and West on the field. In this scenario, 38% would vote for Trump, 36% would support Biden, 13% would support Kennedy, and 2% would support West. Nine percent are undecided.
The MOE is plus or minus four percent, and the survey was conducted from October 30 to November 6.
Finally, Biden and Trump are in a dead heat in Michigan at 43 percent each. Another five percent would leave the election, and nine percent are not sure who they would support. Biden has a narrow lead of 38 percent to Trump’s 37 percent when the field expands to four candidates. Kennedy and West get ten percent and two percent, respectively. Another ten percent are undecided.
The survey showed 700 registered voters in Michigan from Oct. 30 to Nov. 3, and the MOE registers at plus or minus four percent.
The swing state polls follow a trend in two other recent polls. A News from New York/Sienna College Survey published Sunday showed Trump leading Biden by eleven in Nevada, six in Georgia, five in Arizona and Michigan and four percent in Pennsylvania. Biden leads by two in Wisconsin.
