Dr. Fauci threatened with prosecution and jail after bombshell report reveals he misled US about origins of Covid

Dr. Anthony Fauci is under fire after a new bombshell report revealed in detail how he misled the United States about the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Now, senators are calling for him to be prosecuted and jailed.

The House Select Subcommittee on the coronavirus pandemic has uncovered evidence that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the nation’s top Covid authority, abused his influence in steering researchers away from the “lab leak theory.” of the origins of SARS-CoV-2, lied to Congress about his role in this research, and in fact may have been the lead author of the now infamous paper, “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2 “.

The House subcommittee on March 5 issued a memorandum on its findings that Dr. Fauci had improperly influenced Covid-origin researchers, contrary to the researchers’ claims. The memorandum reads as follows:

Evidence before the Select Subcommittee suggests that Dr. Anthony Fauci “asked” Dr. Kristian Andersen, a professor at Scripps Research (Scripps), to write Proximal Origin and that the goal was to “disprove” any leak theory. laboratory

On August 18, 2021, Scripps responded to Jim Jordan’s July 29, 2021 letter to Oversight and Reform Committee Ranking Member James Comer, then Judicial Ranking Member, to Dr. Andersen. In that letter, Scripps claims that Dr. Andersen “objectively” investigated the origins and that Dr. Anthony Fauci did not try to influence his work. Both claims do not appear to be supported by the available evidence.

The select subcommittee on the coronavirus pandemic adds that “The purpose of proximate origin was to ‘disprove’ a laboratory theory”. This is based on statements made by Dr. Kristian Anderson, the lead author.

“Our main work over the past few weeks has been focused on trying to disprove any sort of lab theory…” Anderson wrote in a February 8, 2020, email.

The memo reveals how researchers believed the hypothesis of natural evolution was based on dubious claims.

On January 31, 2020, Andersen sent an email to then-Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Dr. Anthony Fauci, to warn about the origin of the virus.

“Some of the features appear to be engineered,” Andersen warned Fauci in the email.

The “genome seems inconsistent with the theory of evolution,” the scientist added. After the email, Andersen spoke with Fauci by phone about his findings on the virus. A few days later, Andersen changed his tune.

On February 1, Dr. Fauci sent an email to his longtime aide, Dr. Hugh Auchincloss. In the email, Dr. Fauci attached a document written by Dr. Ralph Baric and Dr. Zhengli-Li Shi, the so-called “bat woman” of the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). The paper highlighted taxpayer-funded profit-taking research on coronavirus carried out by the WIV.

Dr Fauci told Dr Auchincloss: “It is essential that we talk about this [morning]. Keep your mobile on. . . read this paper . . today you will have tasks that you will have to do”.

After the telephone calls organized by Dr. Fauci (and all the emails surrounding that phone call have been redacted so far), Anderson flipped his story 180 degrees.

“The main crackpot theories circulating at the moment relate to the engineering of this virus in some way… and that is demonstrably false,” Andersen wrote on February 4, 2020.

Anderson had previously received millions in grants from the National Institutes of Health, and in fact received a grant for $1.88 million shortly after his call with Fauci. Dr. Andrew Huff, co-founder of the Eco-Health Alliance, testified under oath that NIH funding for the full funding of Dr. Anderson went from roughly $7 million a year to nearly $24 million a year after Fauci’s phone call.

However, the authors would definitively state in the paper “Proximal origin of SARS-CoV-2” that a laboratory leak theory for the origins of SARS-CoV-2 was “unlikely”.

“Our analyzes clearly show that SARS-CoV-2 is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus,” the authors wrote.

Instead, the researchers proposed a hypothesis of natural evolution, without revealing their doubts about their hypotheses in the paper.

“It is unlikely that SARS-CoV-2 arose through laboratory manipulation of a SARS-CoV-like coronavirus,” the researchers state.

“Instead, we propose two scenarios that can plausibly explain the origin of SARS-CoV-2: (i) natural selection in an animal host before zoonotic transfer; and (ii) natural selection in humans after transfer zoonotic,” they added.

In addition, there appears to be evidence that the World Health Organization played an inappropriate role in the development of the research paper.

“The evidence available to the Select Sub-Committee suggests that Dr Farrar, former Director of the Wellcome Trust and current Chief Scientist of the World Health Organisation, was more involved in the preparation and publication of Proximal Original than was previously known,” the subcommittee stated. .

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Energy have recently come forward to support the SARS-CoV-2 “lab leak theory” as the most likely, given the current state of the evidence.

FBI Director Christopher Wray told Fox News last week that his office has determined that the source of the COVID-19 pandemic was “probably a possible laboratory incident in Wuhan, China.”

Now, following the FBI’s determination that a lab leak is likely, the WHO is once again trying to intervene in the US investigation into the origins of the Covid virus. The WHO is calling on governments with intelligence on the virus to come forward, after a growing number of US officials said it may have been the result of a Chinese lab leak.

“If any country has information about the origins of the pandemic, it is essential that this information is shared with WHO and the international scientific community,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Friday, March 3.

This led to the WHO early in the pandemic rejecting reports of human-to-human transmission of Covid-19 and the body “taking the Chinese Communists at their word” that the lab leak theory was baseless.

Dr. Peter Daszak, who led the subcontractor EcoHealth Alliance that Fauci funded to conduct risky gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and a member of the World Health Organization research team Health about the origins of the virus, he admitted to buying the communist. The Chinese narrative in a 60 Minutes appearance with Lesley Stahl in 2021.

“For an accidental leak to occur that then led to COVID, the virus that causes COVID would have to be in the lab. They never had any evidence of a virus like COVID in the lab. … Not before the outbreak, no. Absolutely. There is no evidence of that,” Daszak stated.

“We met with them. We said, ‘Do you audit the lab?’ And they said, ‘Annually.’ ‘Did you audit it after the outbreak?’ —Yes. ‘Has anything been found?’ ‘No.’ ‘Test your staff?’ “Yeah. No one was—” Daszak said, before being interrupted by Stahl.

“But you’re just taking his word for it!” he exclaimed, and Daszak did not deny it.

“Well, what else can we do? There’s a limit to what you can do, and we hit that limit,” Daszak said. “We asked them tough questions. They were not reviewed beforehand. And the answers they gave, we found to be credible, correct and convincing.”

There is new research into the origins of SARS-CoV-2, replicated by Dr. Francis Balloux, that strongly supports the theory of laboratory origins.

Princeton researcher Alex Washburne in October 2022 announced the pre-print publication of the study, which some skeptics now credit as changing their minds on the subject.

“We examined whether SARS-CoV-2 was synthesized in a laboratory,” Washburne wrote. “We studied a common method for synthesizing CoV in the laboratory. This method was thought to leave no fingerprint. We found the fingerprint. This fingerprint is found in the genome of SARS-CoV-2.”

Professor Francois Balloux, a world-renowned expert on Covid-19, gave his assessment of the study. Professor Balloux said he could replicate his key findings.

“This is an important piece of work,” Balloux said. “To me, it seems solid both conceptually and methodologically. I was given advance notice and was able to replicate the key findings. To the best of my knowledge, I confirm that the reported patterns are genuine.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci and other top scientists are expected to be called before the US House of Representatives and Senate to account for misleading the public about Covid-19. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is calling for Fauci to be prosecuted and jailed for his role in the response to the coronavirus pandemic.

At the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland, Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and JD Vance (R-OH) addressed the issue of responsibility for Dr. Anthony Fauci.

“There should be accountability,” Vance said. “It’s that simple.”

“Tony Fauci lied under oath to the American people,” he continued. “And it’s not just that. He forced and persuaded the FBI to censor information about the pandemic as it was unfolding. He tried to shut down, used his government power, to shut down the operation of the First Amendment so that we couldn’t have an honest debate about where Covid came from and what to do about it.”

“And I think it’s absolutely shameful what Tony Fauci did,” he added. Vance expressed his lack of faith in Attorney General Merrick Garland to get it right.

Senator Cruz expanded on Vance’s remarks.

“Dr. Fauci has done more harm than any bureaucrat in our nation’s history,” Cruz remarked. “He led policies that destroyed people’s lives, that hurt tens of millions of children across the country, that they destroyed businesses, and lied repeatedly, over and over and over. Now, one of the consequences is that it elevated politics above science and medicine.”

“There has been no person who has done more to destroy trust in the scientific and medical community than Dr. Anthony Fauci, who willingly, knowingly, easily, and arrogantly lied to millions of Americans. supreme,” argued Cruz. “In any sane system, he would be prosecuted for lying under oath and he would go to jail for lying under oath to Congress.”

“We have a majority in the House, and I’m sure we’re going to use that majority and use it to hold Dr. Fauci and the others who lied accountable,” Cruz added.

Ultimately, it may mean the GOP gets more than the House and Senate to see Fauci prosecuted and jailed. It may be necessary to elect a president who appoints an attorney general who is genuinely interested in seeing Dr. Anthony Fauci brought to justice.
