All women dream of grand romantic gestures from their partner, but some people believe that this may have been too much.
Billionaire Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the statue he built of his wife, a nod to an ancient tradition.
“Back to the Roman tradition of making sculptures of your wife,” the tech mogul wrote on Instagram.
The statue, created by artist Daniel Arsham, appears to be made from similar materials to an earlier sculpture he created for a Venetian art exhibition using crystal and volcanic ash.
The grandiose gesture was off-putting to many, who expressed their displeasure to X:
He turned her into a statue of Medusa?? Seems appropriate!
