“You British shits have lost the war!” Americans have a LOT to say about UK police chief's threats to free speech

London's Metropolitan Police are facing intense heat from Americans for threatening the free speech rights of American citizens.

Speaking to Sky News on Friday about the riots that have engulfed the UK, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley first said he intends to pursue criminals both in the UK and abroad.

“We will throw the full force of the law at the people,” he said. “And if you're in this country committing street crimes or committing crimes from farther onlinewe will go after you.”

It was unclear at first what sort of “online” crimes he was referring to, but it soon became clear after a left-wing Sky News reporter prodded Rowley by claiming that high-profile figures had been “stirring up the hate” and suggesting that “The likes of Elon Musk,” the outspoken billionaire who owns Twitter/X, have been involved.

The reporter then asked Rowley what his plans are “when it comes to dealing with people who trigger this kind of behavior from behind the keyboard who may be in a different country?”

Now, before we go any further, some clarification is in order. What kind of “hate” was the leftist journalist referring to?

Flashback to earlier this month, when a 17-year-old with Rwandan parents stabbed three children to death at a Taylor Swift-themed yoga and dance workshop in Southport, UK.

The children's deaths sparked widespread protests from aggrieved natives sick of the ever-increasing migrant/immigrant violence. In response, Muslim gangs began roaming the streets and terrorizing/assaulting random natives:

In response to these twin events, UK leaders and police chose to condemn and target allegedly “far-right” protesters angry at the deaths of their children and defend Muslim gangs.

This surprising dichotomy caught the attention of Musk, who proceeded to accuse the country's police of perpetrating “two-level surveillance.” This in turn infuriated Rowley, who then accused critics of the police of putting their lives in danger. This is a common left deviation technique.

Rowley redoubled his anger on Friday, telling a Sky News reporter that he intends to go after anyone, including Americans, who dares to express a dissenting opinion on the internet, including X.

“Being a keyboard warrior doesn't protect you from the law,” he said. “You can be guilty of offenses of incitement, of stirring up racial hatred, there are numerous terrorist offenses in terms of publishing material.”

“All of these crimes are at stake if people are causing hatred and violence in the streets and we're going to go after these individuals just as we're going to physically confront the thugs and the jobbers that they're taking, that they're causing problems in the communities,” he added.

His comments did not sit well with Americans, who, unlike poor Brits, are protected by the First Amendment to the US Constitution.
