A shocking incident occurred in Washington state over the weekend, leaving a community shaken and authorities investigating the death of a man. In a chilling turn of events, a woman covered in blood appeared outside a Gig Harbor home, desperately claiming she had been held against her will for days at a nearby home.
The injured 27-year-old woman told officers she managed to escape from a residence near Sehmel Drive after being brutally beaten by an elderly man. Her cries for help led her to a neighbor’s house, where Gary and Robin Marcello were awakened by the doorbell ringing in the middle of the night.
Gary Marcello described the horrific scene, saying he found the young woman walking away with blood covering her face. Robin Marcello, still shaken by the memory, recalled the girl’s desperate pleas and repeated, “He’s going to kill me, he’s going to kill me.”
According to the woman’s account, an unknown man had picked her up in an unknown place days before her escape. He admitted to using drugs, but was unable to provide officers with further information due to his injuries.
Gig Harbor Police Department officers discovered the woman with lacerations to her head and immediately transported her to a hospital for treatment.
