White House reporter shares 'bitter truth' behind what he thinks Nikki Haley really meant after Iowa

-

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley raised eyebrows when she said the GOP primary was now a “two-person race” after finishing third in the Iowa caucuses.

And as social media pondered his math skills and the former UN ambassador defended his remarks, another theory emerged about the true meaning of his words.

Reporter Simon Ateba of Today News Africa posted his thoughts on the incident on Wednesday X, suggesting that Haley's line was “not about” former President Trump, who won the Iowa caucus.

“I would like to tell you something inconvenient, a bitter truth. Anything else is a lie. Do not be fooled by propagandists, demagogues and politicians who only align with the wind,” Ateba began.

“She was referring to DeSantis and herself. That's because in the back of everyone's mind here in DC, Trump is too dangerous to be president again and they won't let that happen, at all costs! It's war !” Ateba continued.

He went on to point out how Trump is seen as an “existential threat” to the nation by “the left, the deep state and the DC establishment” who “must stop him at all costs,” such as using the courts “If that doesn't work, they could go further, to the final option. I will refrain from mentioning it here.”

“This is not about trying to understand the basis of MAGA and asking why they love it? Is he talking about his concerns? Is it giving them the attention they need? Is it meeting your needs? and any other question you ask yourself to win an electorate”, continued Ateba.

He went on to state that the country is facing three wars: “the media war to win over independents, the legal war to discredit Trump, and the deep state war to 'save' America from Trump.”

“These wars will happen at the same time and the coming months will be tumultuous,” Ateba warned.

“Remember, no politician can tell the truth and live. For thousands of years, the people who have told the truth have often been philosophers, poets and thinkers, people who did not run for office and did not need public approval “, he wrote.

“This is because the public often rejects the truth when it contradicts their beliefs,” he added, “because they prefer the comfort of illusions to the discomfort of reality.”

Ateba found a lot of support for his post on X:
