Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has just added a former Obama consultant to her campaign team.
David Plouffe, who managed Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, is joining the Harris campaign. Plouffe served as a senior adviser to Obama during his 2012 re-election and is said to serve as a senior adviser to the vice president on her re-election bid, according to Reuters, citing “a source with direct knowledge.”
David Plouffe Obama's campaign manager during the Obama regime… He was tagged as Kamala Harris's campaign manager Coincidence I think it's not Obama's fourth term if you vote for Harris the Marxist pic.twitter.com/bVgnHKSFYg

“Well, our Jeff Zeleny is confirming this report that David Plouffe, the campaign manager of Barack Obama's historic 2008 presidential campaign, is now joining Vice President Harris' campaign as a senior adviser,” said David Chalian CNN's Dana Bash on Friday.
“That's according to a Democrat close to the campaign. I don't know that it's, I don't think we feel like it's a change or just an addition to having, you know, one of the most celebrated and intelligent Democratic political strategists joining the team to offer his advice And obviously the advice will be welcome news to many Democrats following this,” he added.
“We'll see if that means it displaces anyone,” Chalian continued. “And if this is the beginning of a change of command in the Harris campaign. When he took over the operation, he was very clear that Jen O'Malley Dillon and Julie Chavez Rodriguez would stay in their roles. So that may be reinforcing that.”
“Yeah, sounds like reinforcement. And, like, if they could catch him, why wouldn't they?” Bash said.

Plouffe didn't seem receptive to the idea of joining Harris' team when MSNBC's Joe Scarborough made the suggestion in an interview last month.
Social media users reacted to the news that one of Obama's top advisers would be on Harris' team.
Tell me that Barack Obama is not the president and that he will be without telling me that
