Virginia Dem candidate who live-streamed sex loses election bid

“It is an honor to be elected Delegate to HD-57 last night. I will begin working immediately to deliver the unity, common-sense leadership and responsive service I promised,” Owen wrote in a statement on Twitter, now known as X, on Wednesday after being elected. “Now, I’m ready to get to work!”

Gibson and the Virginia Democratic Party did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
