As the media vilifies border walkers as part of the “Take Our Border Back” convoy, American patriots protest the invasion of the US by millions of illegal immigrants under the Biden administration.
“Calling all active and retired military, veterans, mama bears, elected officials, business owners, ranchers, truckers, bikers, media and LAW ABIDING, freedom loving Americans,” he proclaim the convoy to his web site and event promotion posters. “Now is the time for We the People to come together peacefully in honor of our Constitutional Rights to call on our government to act and SECURE OUR BORDERS!”
The “Army of God” is being denounced by the media as a group of dangerous Christian white nationalists and election denialists. They've even gotten some leftist sheriffs in Texas to tell the convoy to stay away, not that it's going to make one bit of difference to the men and women on the road. Unfortunately for the left, of course, this will not be another January 6th.
The convoy will travel thousands of miles from Norfolk, Virginia to the southern border to protest hordes of illegal immigrants crossing into the country as Texas and its governor, Greg Abbott, draw a line in the sand and take a position against the federal government. this The parade of truckers and cars is reminiscent of the protests that took place at the Canadian border over COVID mandates, except this time Americans are leading the way.

“Craig Hudgins, a former United Airlines pilot turned Christian activist, urged those who eventually plan to travel to Eagle Pass in Texas to ignore calls on social media to use violence to make their point.” daily mail reported
“A handful of media outlets had it held by a rope of inflammatory messages posted on the organizers' Telegram channel as proof that the protest was just a front for far-right extremists,” the outlet noted.
Participants in the protest waved American flags and held signs in support of those jailed for the January 6 riots.
“People are making up all kinds of things,” Hudgins claimed during a speech delivered from the back of a pickup truck as fans prepared for their four-day trip. “It is about being a peaceful demonstration. We don't want our guys in the National Guard taking over what's going on.”
“I'm listening to 40,000 truckers coming from all over the country,” he said before those in attendance bowed their heads in prayer and then recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

The first leg of the trip ended Monday night with a stop in Jacksonville, Florida. The convoy headed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Tuesday, according to the Daily Mail. The rallies will be held in Texas, Arizona and California.
The convoy is a President Biden looks bad in an election year, as it will undoubtedly get plenty of coverage even if most of it is simply to vilify those involved. According to the Daily Mail, the convoy has raised more than $130,000.
Many Americans are outraged by the more than 10 million illegal immigrants who have arrived in the country.

The convoy also arrives as Republicans have begun impeachment proceedings against National Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over the border crisis. It's also a black eye as Congress debates Biden's aid packages for Ukraine and Israel. Conservatives refuse to sign them unless the border is closed and the tsunami of illegal immigrants is stopped. Democrats are trying to push through a version of the deal that would limit illegal immigrants to 5,000 a day. House Speaker Mike Johnson says the deal is dead on that proposal, among others.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott denies Biden border agents access to Shelby Park. Despite the Supreme Court's ruling that the federal government can cut the concertina wire set up on the Texas border, state law enforcement is doing even more and maintaining its stance against the Biden administration . Abbott is using the National Guard and is adamant that Texas has the right to defend itself.
The governor has declared that Texas is being invaded, which gives him the power to take control of the situation, claiming the state's constitutional right to do so. He says that since Biden has not done his duty to protect Texas, Texans will do it themselves.

Media Affairs, vicei The daily beast, among others, call out that the convoy's organizers include QAnon conspiracy theorists, pro-choice deniers, and anti-vaxxers. They seem to be deathly afraid of Christians…like vampires and holy water.
An organizer named Kim Yeater said, “God's army is rising up.”
“We are besieged on all sides by dark forces of evil,” another unnamed organizer told Vice in an interview.
