Nearly a month to the day former President Donald Trump was nearly killed by a would-be assassin who managed to sneak past the Secret Service, an agent from the agency left his post at a Trump rally in Ashville, Carolina from the North, without permission to breastfeed her baby. .
That's according to RealClearPolitics correspondent Susan Crabtree, who said in an exclusive report that “a female Secret Service Special Agent left her post to breastfeed without permission/notification to the agent at the event site , according to three sources in the Secret Service community.”
The botched July 13 assassination was marked by several female officers appearing overwhelmed by the chaos unfolding before them, seemingly lost and unsure of what to do, and the female officer's alleged actions at the Trump rally on Wednesday, August 14, just adds. to the controversy
“Shortly before the arrival of the Trump motorcade, I was told five minutes before, the site agent was preparing for the arrival. (The site agent is the person in charge of the security of everything the event.) The site agent went to do a final sweep of the walking route and found the agent nursing her child in a room that was supposed to be reserved for important things. Official Secret Service business, meaning a possible emergency involving the President,” Crabtree reported.

After pointing out that an officer working a shift cannot take a child on a protective assignment, Crabtree said the officer was in the room with two other family members.
“The officer and his family members bypassed the Uniformed Division checkpoint and were escorted by event personnel without a pin to the room to breastfeed, the sources said. No pin means that the Secret Service has not cleared them to be there,” the reporter added.
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told Crabtree that the incident had no impact on the event, but that it is under review.
“All employees of the US Secret Service are held to the highest standards,” Guglielmi said. “While there was no impact on the North Carolina event, the details of this incident are being looked into. As this is a personnel matter, we are not in a position to comment further.”
Conservative personality Matt Walsh, who believes that radical gender ideology is a cultural disease plaguing America, spoke volumes about the alleged incident.
“It's absurd that a Secret Service agent would be breastfeeding at work,” she posted on X. “However, it would also be absurd for a Secret Service agent to breastfeed at home during their time.”
“It is absurd and morally grotesque to have mothers of young children in a position like this,” Walsh added. “A Secret Service agent has to be ready to throw himself in front of a bullet. A functioning, decent society doesn't ask mothers to do that for anyone but their own children.”
The only consistency of the Secret Service since Trump's near-assassination has been a complete lack of accountability for the catastrophic failures seen by the agency on that fateful day. There is no trust that the last mistake will be properly addressed, and there is no trust in the woman's judgment as an agent OR as a mother.
Here's a quick sampling of other responses to the story, as seen in X:
Not only did he abandon his post, but he also breached security protocols by allowing his family members to bypass screening.
I suspect certain “demographic” details are missing from this story, but he should be fired immediately, if not sooner.
This should be the last key…

Why would anyone take their child to potentially dangerous and life-threatening work? It is not only a question of professionalism but of reasoning and judgment as a parent whose first job is to safeguard your child.

Did she have her son with her in active SS service? What kind of mother does that??

This whole story is just an indictment of our secret service and our nation for putting a nursing mother in the role to begin with.
Of course, she left her post to feed her child, because that is her first priority, rightly so. Protecting the life and well-being of your child…

He should be fired, sorry, but women should not be agents, especially if they are breastfeeding and carrying their child with them. There better be consequences, this is unacceptable.

Maybe assign it @Tim_Walz
He has no problem with people leaving his site.— willy (@willy56317462) August 15, 2024
