UFC champ fires Canadian reporter Trudeau on WILD after LGBTQ question

UFC champion Sean Strickland spoke to a reporter at a recent press conference after being asked about past comments he's made about the LGBTQ community.

Before the wild rant, the UFC middleweight champion tried to determine whether the reporter had voted for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, calling him “Canada's enemy” when he refused to answer the question.

Strickland is set for Saturday's UFC 297 fight against Dricus Du Plessis at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. The reporter asked the 32-year-old mixed martial artist about a 2021 tweet that reportedly read: “If I had a gay child, I would think I failed as a man to create this weakness… If I had aw ** ** For a daughter, I would think she just wanted to be like her dad lol!!”

The middleweight champion cut off the reporter as he asked the question, asking if he was gay. When the reporter said he wasn't, but was an ally of the LGBT community, Strickland asked how he would feel if his son were gay.

“Well, then you're a weak man,” said Strickland. “You're part of the problem. You elected Justin Trudeau. When he took over the bank accounts, like you're pathetic. The fact that you don't have a fucking backbone and while he's shutting down your fucking country and confiscating bank accounts, I ask something stupid like that. Go away yourself. Fuck the man. He was a coward.”

Without further ado, the reporter asked Strickland about the comments about the transgender community and the UFC's partnership with Bud Light.

“That's the thing about Bud Light…Ten years ago, being trans was a mental illness,” Strickland said.

“And now suddenly people like you have made their way into the world… you're an infection. You're the definition of weakness. Everything that's wrong with the world is because of you. And the best is that the world isn't buying your fucking bulls, you're peddling,” he continued.

“The world doesn't say, you know what, you're right, 'Chicks have ds.'” The world does not say. The world says no, there are two genders,” he added. “I don't want my children to be taught about who they could… at school. I don't want my children to learn about their sexual preferences.”

Strickland once again aimed personal barbs at the reporter.

“This guy is the f–king enemy,” he continued. “You want to look at the f-king enemy of our world? It's that mother right there, asking me stupid questions.”
