After more than a week of watching liberals and neoconservatives condemn Russian President Vladimir Putin's barbarism over the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in an Arctic prison, the head of the Central Intelligence Agency (HUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, has confirmed that Navalny did, in fact, die of natural causes.

“I may disappoint you, but as far as we know, he died as a result of a blood clot. And that has been more or less confirmed,” Budanov told reporters on Sunday, according to the Kyiv post office. “This doesn't come from the internet, but unfortunately it's natural [causes].”

Tucker Carlson quickly chimed in.
“So a CIA-backed Ukrainian intelligence official is telling us that Navalny actually died of natural causes,” the intrepid reporter told X. “You have to wonder what's going on here. pretty obvious.”

Last week, in his first US interview since returning from his internet-breaking meeting with Putin, Carlson told Glenn Beck that he has “no idea” whether Navalny was killed, as many assumed quickly
“Nobody in America has a clue,” he said. “All these buffoons, like Chuck Schumer, or our senile president jumping up and down…” Russia did this! – They don't know that. In fact, they don't know anything about it.”
“I have no freaking idea,” he said.
“I can tell you he didn't help Russia do that…” Carlson continued. “His death during the Munich security conference in the middle of the debate over funding Ukraine, which they are both very aware of, doesn't help Russia. So people who say, 'Oh, Putin just did— lo murder last week” are idiots. They don't really know anything.”

Budanov's comments support Russia's initial claim that “Navalny's death was the result of 'natural causes' after he lost consciousness during a walk through the prison colony called 'Polar Wolf'” , reports the Kyiv Post.
By confirming the truth, Budanov “may have ended up averting a world war,” according to one X user, who notes, “DC politicians tried to use Navalny's death as a reason to escalate the war with Russia.”

President Biden announced Friday that his administration is “imposing more than 500 new sanctions in response to Putin's brutal war and the death of Aleksey Navalny.”
“Putin is betting on us leaving,” Biden said. “We won't.”

It is unclear whether those sanctions will be lifted now.
Meanwhile, one X user wondered: “Aren't you sick of the gaslighting, lies and bulls**t of our western governments?”
