U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) spoke Monday night at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago — the fact that she drew a slot for opening night is perhaps an indication of her relevance faded

AOC did what she does best, which is make fun of herself, looking like someone who's started to believe her own press clippings. The socialist congresswoman appeared to be auditioning the party faithful for a future run at the White House, but her enthusiasm may have gotten the better of her.

In a scripted attack on Republican nominee Donald Trump, the left-leaning lawmaker seemed to summon from the depths a whole new accent as she altered her lines.

“And I, for one, am tired of appearing about how a two-bit union buster considers himself more of a patriot than the woman who fights every day to lift workers up from under the boots of greed, stomping our way . of life,” bellowed Ocasio-Cortez, sounding like a drug dealer who violated the sacred code of never taking your own supply.

She apparently meant “tired of hearing about…” but the room full of Democrats applauded anyway, even though they would prove time and time again throughout the night that they were more screwed. the feelings a speaker showed more than the garbled lines being delivered.

Speaking of blurred lines, AOC also had this to say: “The good people of the Bronx and Queens chose someone like me to elect them to Congress.”

On the same day, the House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means Committees released a blister report Ocasio-Cortez, who detailed how President Biden's family and business associates received more than $27 million through foreign trade deals while he was vice president, Ocasio-Cortez spoke of Trump lining his own pockets.

“Donald Trump would sell this country for $1 if he wanted to line his pockets and grease the palms of his friends on Wall Street,” the former bartender said.

Interestingly, Ocasio-Cortex made a comeback a few years ago when she was busted for adopting a fake Spanish accent.

“People who speak my voice can come right out. Any child who has grown up in a different language culture and had to learn to navigate the classroom environment at school/work knows what happens. The my Spanish is the same.” AOC posted on X while playing the victim. “As much as the right wants to distort and mislead, I'm from the Bronx. I act and talk like one, *especially* when I'm angry and especially when I'm at home. It's so bad to see every aspect of my life weaponized against me , but somehow asserts itself as false at the same time.”
