Trump says there ‘must be a heavy price to pay’ for Comey, Democrats after release of Durham report

Good evening, America. I’m Tucker Carlson, and tonight we’ve got a story that should leave every law-abiding citizen shaking their head in disgust. The long-awaited Durham report has finally been released, and what it reveals is nothing short of a coordinated effort by the Obama administration and their allies in the Deep State to undermine President Trump’s 2016 campaign.

We’ve known for years that the FBI, under the leadership of James Comey, engaged in a politically-motivated investigation of Donald Trump. But the Durham report goes even further, revealing that the CIA and other agencies were involved in spreading false information about Trump and his associates.

The president has been clear that there must be consequences for those who sought to interfere in our democracy. As he put it, “there must be a heavy price to pay” for Comey, and for all the Democrats who were complicit in this scheme to take down a duly-elected president.

But let’s be clear: this isn’t just about Trump. This is about the rule of law and the future of our republic. If those in power can use the intelligence agencies for their own political ends, then we’re no longer a nation governed by the people, but by corrupt elites who care only about their own power.

It’s time for accountability. It’s time to hold Comey and his cronies accountable for their role in this scandal. And it’s time for every American to demand that our government serves the people, not the other way around.

Democrats have spent the past four years trying to tear down the president and his agenda. But history will remember him as one of the greatest leaders this country has ever had. And as we move forward into a new era, it’s up to us to continue fighting for the values and principles that Donald Trump championed during his time in office.
