Trump explains why Zelenskyy may be 'the greatest salesman of any politician who ever lived'

-

As President Joe Biden and Congress continued to be ripped off by the “biggest salesman of any politician,” former President Donald Trump sought to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Reluctance to negotiate, maintaining an unspecified notion of victory and the unwavering support of the corporate media and international leaders, has seen Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stay in office months after elections should have been held. Now, as the United States has already funneled hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars into Ukraine's “democracy” and promised no less than another decade of support, Trump shared his vision of the comedian-turned-comic in icon of war.

“I think Zelenskyy is perhaps the greatest salesman of any politician who ever lived,” the GOP leader said Saturday while addressing the crowd at Turning Point Action's “People's Convention” in Detroit, Michigan. “Every time he comes to our country, he leaves with $60 billion!”

Just left a community round table on 180 Church, Trump continued: “And I like him. You know in impeachment hoax number one, he was very good. He said, 'No, the president hasn't threatened me at all.' He could to have been a tribune and said, 'I was threatened'… So I like it. But, he's the best salesman of all time.”

Easily apparent was the fact that what appeared to be a complement to Zelenskyy was a dig at Biden's inept handling of crisis after crisis, as Trump had prefaced the comment by stating: “I'm going to stop Joe Biden's inflation-causing spending and I will impose an immediate moratorium on all the hundreds of billions of dollars of “Crooked” waste. He is putting all this money into the Green New scam. one of the biggest scams in history.”

Biden's attendance at the G7 summit in Italy, where he and Zelenskyy had cemented a 10-year deal of military and economic support, followed a bilateral meeting in France, where the so-called leader of the free world reached out to his Ukrainian counterpart and lamented that the US Constitution had prevented him from acting more quickly on the latest $60 billion offer.

“We're not going to walk away from you. I apologize for the weeks of not knowing what was going to happen, funding-wise,” said Biden. “And because we had trouble getting the bill we had to pass, which had the money, some of our very conservative members who were holding it. But we finally got it.”

Meanwhile, as Russian President Vladimir Putin called his demands for “peace proposal,” including Kiev's recognition of Crimea as Russian territory, a deal rejected by the well-funded Zelenskyy, Trump argued would be able to resolve the conflict between the Nov. 5 election and his first day in a potential second term in the position .

“I will solve this before I take the White House as president-elect,” he vowed before switching gears to another fiasco overseen by the incumbent, “Biden's migrant invasion.”
