Trump campaign hits back at 'dictator' hit piece in WaPo, says Gaetz 'greenlight murder' | louder.news

Over the past week, several media outlets have published articles warning that a second Trump term would turn America into a dictatorship.

The Washington Post notably published an article written by Robert Kagan, husband of former State Department official Victoria Nuland (who was deeply involved in the Steele dossier collaboration) titled “A Trump dictatorship is more and more inevitable. We should stop pretending.”

Many suggested that this was a clarion call to assassinate the former President of the United States.

Let's stop the wishful thinking and face the stark reality: There is a clear path to dictatorship in the United States, and it's getting shorter every day. In 13 weeks, Donald Trump will have clinched the Republican nomination.

[…] Are we going to do something about it? To switch metaphors, if we think there's a 50 percent chance an asteroid will crash into North America within a year, would we be content to hope it didn't? Or would we be taking every measure imaginable to try to stop it, including many things that may not work but, given the magnitude of the crisis, should be tried anyway?
