Trump blasts reporter over 'stupid' question about campaign schedule as Harris hides [VIDEO]

However, like it or loathe it, there's no avoiding the media in an election…unless you're Kamala Harris, apparently.

Harris has deployed the tactic of avoiding the media since her confirmation as the Democratic Party's presidential nominee last month.

When Donald Trump held a press conference at Mar-a-Lago he addressed the situation first hand after a “stupid” question from a reporter.

When the reporter asked why the former president hadn't campaigned across the country, Trump said, “Because I'm leading a lot and because I'm letting his convention happen.”

“I am campaigning a lot. I'm doing a lot of recording here. We have announcements at a level that I don't think anyone has ever done before,” Trump continued.

Adding that he had been talking to reporters all week, as well as at the press conference, Trump added: “She's not doing a press conference. You know why? Because she can't do a press conference. She doesn't know how hold a press conference. Not smart enough to hold a press conference. And sorry, we need smart people to lead this country.”
