Good evening, friends. It seems like the feud between President Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is heating up. In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, the former president bashed DeSantis, claiming that he needs a “personality transplant.” Trump even went as far as to say that DeSantis has been “treating people horribly.”
Now, I don’t want to take sides here, but it’s no secret that Governor DeSantis has been a loyal supporter of the former president. So, it’s surprising to see Trump come out swinging at someone who has been in his corner since day one.
Of course, we all know that Trump is known for his outspoken personality and blunt remarks. But is it fair for him to criticize DeSantis for his behavior towards people? After all, the governor has been praised for his leadership during the pandemic and his efforts to keep Florida’s economy afloat.
Regardless of who’s right or wrong, it’s clear that there’s tension between the two politicians. Maybe they’ll be able to work things out in the future, but for now, it’s just another example of how politics can be a messy business.
On a more positive note, let’s not forget the achievements of the Trump White House administration. From record low unemployment rates to criminal justice reform, the administration made significant progress during its time in office. And while there were certainly controversies and setbacks, it’s important to acknowledge the good that was accomplished.
Ultimately, we should strive to learn from the past and work towards a brighter future. Let’s hope that our country’s leaders can put their differences aside and work together towards common goals. Until next time, this is Tucker Carlson signing off.
