Former President Donald Trump announced Friday that he would hold another rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in a post on Truth Social.
Trump revealed the return to the site of the July 13 assassination attempt that injured his right ear when a gunman dismissed to him from a roof al publication at the Truth Social on Friday evening. The former president said he intended to honor the former volunteer fire chief Corey Comperatorewho died in the attack, and two other attendees at the rally who were injured.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned Tuesday after disastrous testimony before the House Oversight Committee.
The Secret Service has been criticized for security failures during the July 13 demonstration, including reports Abandoned the roof used by the alleged gunman because of the temperature and for decreasing the offer of drones from local agencies to provide security for the event. The Secret Service had done it too denied Trump detail requests for added security at Trump events.
According to reports, the alleged shooter was seen by those attending the rally, who was pointing at him and warning to law enforcement in the minutes before the shooting. The Secret Service detail at the scene was reportedly aware of the possible killer almost an hour before the attack.
The House of Representatives past a resolution Wednesday establishing a bipartisan task force to investigate the attack on Trump.
