Todd Bensman, a senior national security fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies, appeared on Steve Bannon’s War Room to discuss the substantial increase in illegal immigration into the United States during the Joe Biden administration.
At present, there are 15,000 Haitian immigrants waiting in Mexico for the end of Title 42. As the pandemic-era immigration policy that prohibited individuals from illegally entering the country and then filing for asylum is no longer in effect, Bensman warns that all of the detention centers responsible for processing immigrants are at capacity. Once they are full, border officials will have no alternative but to release them.
