South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott will endorse former President Donald Trump Friday evening during a campaign event in Concord, New Hampshire, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Scott had been a contender for the GOP nomination until mid-November, yielding that voters were telling him “Not now, Tim”. Endorsement is important as Scott was named to his position in the upper house in 2013 by former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who is currently election second place for the nation's first primary on Tuesday.
With Scott's support, Trump will have secured the endorsements of several former 2024 GOP contenders, including conservative businessman Vivek. Ramaswamy and Doug, Governor of North Dakota Burgum.
