Thousands of African migrants are reportedly flying to Central America to cross the southern border of the United States.
“[T]The number of Africans detained at the southern border rose to 58,462 in fiscal year 2023 from 13,406 in 2022. The New York Times it reported on Friday, citing government data.
“The main African countries in 2023 were Mauritania, with 15,263; Senegal, with 13,526; and Angola and Guinea, which had more than 4,000 each,” the newspaper added.
How do they get to the border? Flying to Nicaragua, whose government “does not restrict the entry of Africans”.
From there, African migrants travel through Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico, eventually reaching the southern border of the United States, at which point they are practically welcomed into America with open arms by the “open borders” Biden administration. .

Why are they specifically coming to the United States? It has been reported that tighter border restrictions in Europe have made it much more difficult for them to migrate there.
“Coming into the United States is safe compared to European countries, and that's how I came,” an African migrant, Sekuba Keita, 30, told the Times.
talking with The Daily WireIra Mehlman of the Federation for American Immigration Reform didn't seem at all surprised by that claim.
“Everybody around the world got the message: come to the United States illegally, file a false asylum claim, you'll be released, you'll be given work authorization within 180 days, you'll be able to stay here and how longer longer. you're here the longer you can establish other claims to stay here,” he said.
The Times, a left-leaning outlet, even admits it: “Most people will apply for asylum, which allows them to remain in the United States pending the outcome of their cases, issued years ago.”

Many, many years, according to year Associated Press report published in April. The report notes that migrants are being told they won't be assigned an immigration hearing date until 2023. In the meantime, they can do whatever.
“Until then, the migrants in question won't even have an initial court appearance on the books, even though they can live and work in the US,” the report notes.
“After that, his case will go through the U.S. immigration courts, a process that takes about four years amid a backlog that reached 2.1 million cases in January, up from about 600,000 in 2017,” the report continues.
Returning to the Times bombshell report, it elicited a fascinating response from the paper's notoriously left-leaning readers.
“Tell me how this isn't an 'open border?'” one reader wrote in the newspaper's comments section. “Democrats (of which I am) claim there are no open borders, but this seems yes there is.”
“I'm terrified of another Trump presidency, but I feel like we're headed that way thanks to the destruction of the Democratic Party by its progressive wing,” the reader added.
Another reader, a longtime legal immigrant, even warned that this issue will “cost the Democrats the White House in 2024.”
“Came here thirty years ago with a job offer in hand, a J1 visa in my (valid) passport and the ability to speak English fluently,” the reader wrote. “It took me thirteen years to turn the J1 into an H1b into a green card into a US citizen, working and paying taxes the whole time, never relying on government handouts.”
“The same for my wife and our children. Seeing people just show up and be let in because of “asylum” is beyond infuriating. All these people deserve is immediate arrest and deportation. This will cost the Democrats the White House in 2024,” they added.
It must be especially frustrating to know that the vast majority of asylum claims are bullshit.
“As it turns out, 80 to 90 percent of them don't have a valid asylum claim, once we get their paperwork,” Rep. Dan Crenshaw explained during an appearance on “The View” five years ago years.
Listen:
PolitiFactthe bogus “fact checker” on the left, later tried to fact-check Crenshaw, but ended up admitting he was almost 100 percent right.
“The truth is that between 20 and 30 percent of asylum applications have been granted annually since 2009,” the fake “fact checker” admitted.
This means that between 70 and 80 percent of asylum applications are effectively invalid.
