Outrage is rising quickly after an Olympic boxer was forced to abandon her match against a male boxer because her punches landed too hard.
The outrage revolves around the fact that male boxer Imane Khelif has been cleared by the Olympics to identify and compete as a woman, despite previously failing several gender eligibility tests.
However, her delusional, false belief has had no bearing on her unsurprising ability to beat Italian challenger Angela Carini to a pulp.

After leaving the fight, Carini broke down in tears as she explained what had just happened.
“I'm heartbroken,” she said. “I went to the ring to honor my father. I have been told many times that he was a warrior but I preferred to stop for my health. I've never felt a punch like this.”
“I got in the ring to fight. I didn't give up, but one punch hurt me and so I said enough. I leave with my head held high”, he added. “After the second punch, after years of “experience, I felt a strong pain in the nose. I said enough because I didn't want to finish the fight. So it was better to end it.”
“I'm in pieces because I'm a fighter. They taught me to be a warrior. I have always tried to conduct myself with honor. I have always represented my country with loyalty. This time I didn't make it because I couldn't fight anymore. Regardless of the person in front of me, I don't care, regardless of the whole row, I just wanted to win. I wanted to face the person in front of me and fight,” he added.
Asked by her opponent, she said it was “not for me to judge” whether she should have been allowed to compete. “I did my job,” he added.
Although this is what he said during his press conference, his behavior suggests that he is rightly upset with Khelif.
“He yelled 'this is unfair' in his corner and slammed his helmet on the canvas when the 66kg division match was called off,” New York Post pointed out. “Carini refused a handshake from Khelif and then ripped the referee's hand off when Khelif's was tipped as the winner.”

Meanwhile, Carini's trainer, Emanuel Renzini, told reporters that many people in Italy had warned Carini not to take up the fight.
“A lot of people in Italy tried to call him and say, 'Please don't go: he's a man, he's dangerous for you,'” she said.
Carini's needless loss has sparked massive outrage, including among several high-profile individuals.
“I believe that athletes who have male genetic characteristics should not be admitted to women's competitions,” Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said in a statement. “And not because you want to discriminate against someone, but to protect the right of female athletes to be able to compete under equal conditions.”

Khelif is one of two male boxers allowed to compete against women at this year's Olympics, the other being Lin Yu-ting.
“Last year, both fighters were disqualified from the 2023 women's world championships, with International Boxing Association (IBA) president Umar Kremlev saying DNA tests had “shown they had XY chromosomes and therefore they were excluded,” he said. the guardian.
What is interesting is that the IBA has joined critics in attacking the Olympics for allowing the two to compete against women.
“The [International Olympic Committee’s] The various regulations on these matters, in which the IBA is not involved, raise serious questions about both competitive fairness and athlete safety,” the IBA said in a statement.
The Guardian noted that the International Olympic Committee's position is that both men “are women according to their passports,” facts be damned.

There is no end to the ab*se if this is allowed to continue.
There needs to be a class action lawsuit against the Olympics.

We are reaching levels of clown world that were previously unimaginable.
How long until every “female” Olympian is just a make-up guy?

@Olimpic games #EndTheOlympics I feel sorry for the great women who have worked so hard to compete at this level only to have a MAN beat them. There is no more excellence, no honor, no meaning to this show.

A young female boxer has had everything she has worked and trained for taken away because you allowed a male to enter the ring with her. You are a disgrace, your 'safeguard' is a joke and #Paris24 will be forever stained by the brutal injustice done to Carini. https://t.co/JMKzVljpyr
