Conservative comedian and podcast host Adam Carolla has never pulled his punches when it comes to California Governor Gavin Newsom.
But when the witty progressive tried to rewrite history and claim that the Golden State “led the nation” with its successful handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, Carolla told fellow podcaster Megyn Kelly: “Everything what he does is lie.”
Newsom boasted that California “outperformed the rest of the nation” and students benefited from “less learning loss” than those in, say, Florida.
Those measures that Californians opposed, such as closing schools, the governor noted, were the fault of local leaders, not their leadership.
“Total revisionist history,” claimed Carolla. “This guy is a sociopath. I talked to him. I watched the Eye of the Beast for an hour and a half on my podcast, and all he does is lie. He puts Brylcreem in his teeth.”
