'This country is on its knees!'

The potential for a Harris administration prompted “Shark Tank” star Mr. Wonderful invoked Canada's “it kid” while warning who would end up “on their knees.”

Whether he intended the correlation or not, entrepreneur Kevin O'Leary was unmistakably blunt in his analysis of Vice President Kamala Harris's up-and-down record and who he'd be putting down when he joined NewsNation to react in the July jobs report.

Building on what has been seen of his campaign strategy so far, the Canadian investor looked north to his homeland as he expressed: “There is an example of the 'it kid' a few years ago in Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Nobody looked at his background. He was the 'it boy'.”

“This country is on its knees! He wiped it out!” O'Leary said. “He had no execution skills. Are Americans basically going to hire or, you know, basically bring in a president who's going to be another Justin Trudeau? I hope not.”

Prior to his suggestion that America might suffer a similar Marxist-driven fate, it had been suggested that roughly 20% of donors were suffering from “buyer's remorse” over Harris' no-contest coronation as the party's nominee.

The businessman suggested that steady coverage of the vice president since President Joe Biden suspended his campaign on July 21 could have been milked even more if Democrats had moved forward with a rushed contest leading up to the start of the Democratic National Convention on August 19. “What if they had run a process and sucked up all the energy and all the social media in the market for five weeks? That could have been interesting and if she's the best, she would have risen to the top just like the cream does.”

“I don't blame her for not bringing up the policy. She should just be ranting and evasive, saying 'I'm not Trump' until August 7 because she's raising a lot of money,” O'Leary argued. “But then, he has to talk about politics and I don't know what that's like and nobody does because it's like a blank sheet of paper.”

“She's an unimportant vice president, not that that's bad. Every VP is insignificant. They don't have media,” he said.

Harris' effort to get into the White House had included his own reaction to the jobs report, which, before any planned adjustments, showed unemployment had risen to 4.3%, already that the estimate of 175,000 jobs added was reduced by more than 60,000 to just 114,000.

For this, his campaign spokesman, James Singer, blamed former President Donald Trump and claimed“Donald Trump failed Americans as president, costing our economy millions of jobs and bringing us to the brink of recession. Now, he promises even more damage with the agenda of Bill 2025 that will decimate the middle class and raise taxes on working families, while gutting health care, raising prescription drug costs, and cutting Social Security and Medicare, all while enriching its billionaire donors.”

Putting O'Leary's “it kid” slam into perspective, he did united “The Daniela Cambone Show” in March, where she told Trudeau's reporter: “He's the worst coach Canada has ever had. Total incompetence under him in cabinet seats. Total incompetence in almost every tenure. Absolutely, the worst that I've ever seen.”
