The new gaffes meant new excuses for President Joe Biden's worn-out damage control team, which he didn't shy away from admitting: “He's probably going to keep doing it.”
After the incumbent's performance at the presidential debate, a growing number of people had been led to believe that 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue had been converted into an assisted living facility. As Biden had done little to ease concerns and ultimately added to them with his “big boy” press conference, his campaign communications director, Michael Tyler, sought new levels of shamelessness about the gaffetastic geriatric.
“Joe Biden has been blundering for 40 years,” the spokesman told a group aboard Air Force One en route to Michigan on Friday. “He made a couple last night. He'll probably keep doing it.”

Of course, while Tyler seemingly captured Biden's failing mental faculties under the rainbow umbrella with a “he was born this way” style message, the campaign official made sure to pass on the light of gas with misleading and debunked claims about former President Donald Trump.
“Our opponent is someone who recently called for a bloodbath if he loses,” Tyler said without context, “pledges to rule as a dictator on day one and pledges to ban abortion nationwide.”
“If voters saw the entirety of this press conference, they saw how the president was leading on the global stage, talking about complex issues, the ways he's come together. [the] West after Putin's invasion, the ways in which he has been working to secure a ceasefire framework in the Middle East,” the spokesman continued. “They saw that he presented a clear choice against the opponent, Donald Trump, who just laid out all the fundamental threats he poses to the American people.”
The added comment appeared in line with the campaign's effort to lean toward Biden, mistakenly referring to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Russian President Vladimir Putin during the same press conference Thursday where the vice president had said Trump instead of Vice President Kamala Harris.
As the campaign shared the Clip of Putin instead of sweeping it under the rug, the president's personal X account also tried to gloss over Trump's gaffe with a widely-discussed jab at Trump who had said: “Crooked Joe begins his 'Big Boy' press conference with: “I wouldn't have picked VP Trump to be VP, even though I don't think she was qualified to be president.” Great job, Joe!
Biden's response read: “By the way: yes, I know the difference. One is a prosecutor and the other is a criminal,” earning a lot of banter on social media for whoever was responsible for deleting and approve message to post, “X's dumbest post tonight.”

Similarly, users weren't buying the attempt to contain Biden's worsening public image, as Tyler had also deflected concerns about the president's tight work schedule by stating, “No one is going to work harder to beat Donald Trump than the President of the United States. United States Joe Biden.”
“Gaffes” for sure
