“The View” explodes as anti-Trump Chris Christie reveals he won't vote for Biden

The hosts of “The View” lashed out at Chris Christie on Friday after he said he had no intention of voting for President Joe Biden.

Appearing on the show, he was asked resident fanatic Ana Navarro if she intends to vote for President Biden.

“Right now, I'm not voting either,” Christie replied. “I'm not. I can not. A guy is completely, mentally incompetent to do the job.”

He was then cut off by a furious co-host Joy Behar.

“But you have to vote!” she shouted.

“No, I'm going to vote against the ticket,” Christie shot back. “I don't have to vote, no!”

“You can't throw away your vote,” co-host Sunny Hostin replied.

Christie rightly didn't care what he had to say.

“I don't agree with you,” he told her. “I'm going to sit this one out.”

Then Navarro came back in and said, “But Chris, don't you think it's rich of you to tell the Democrats to get rid of their candidate when you're not willing to vote for any of their candidates?”

“I didn't say that,” Christie replied. “I'm willing to consider anyone who comes forward as someone who will make the country better.”

And obviously, he doesn't think that either Biden or former President Trump will “make the country better.” But according to Christie, he's also not impressed with Vice President Kamala Harris.

When asked why not, he replied: “We only have like a minute and thirty, I don't have enough time [to explain why not].”

The discussion comes amid a growing effort by Democrats to push Biden off the 2024 ticket and replace him with virtually anyone else, but most likely Vice President Harris.

The effort has been intensified thanks to the involvement of top Democrat Nancy Pelosi.

A Politico report noted that Pelosi has privately expressed support for an open convention so that a new Democratic nominee can be chosen.

“At a meeting with fellow California Democrats last week, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi stressed the need for an open process to choose the party's next nominee if President Joe Biden steps aside, in an effort to avoid the 'appearance of a Kamala Harris coronation'. Politician reported

“The discussion at that meeting of the 40-member California delegation that took place at the Capitol on July 10 focused, at least in part, on the complicated next steps for the Democratic Party if Biden were to leave the ticket. And they spoke specifically to the potential political disadvantages of party elites who quickly crowned the vice president as the next nominee,” the report continued.

A report apart from the guardian revealed that “Pelosi has played a prominent role in relaying messages from House Democrats to the White House, conveying concerns that Biden will not be able to beat Donald Trump in November, and has said he believes Biden is in about to make a decision to end his campaign.”

“Pelosi has been widely reported to be orchestrating renewed pressure on Biden to drop his re-election bid, which has intensified in recent days after a brief hiatus following Trump's failed assassination attempt of last Saturday, to which the president responded with a series of authoritative statements calling for calm,” the report continued.

Meanwhile, according to CNN's Kaitlan Collins, Biden is “fuming” over Pelosi's involvement in the move to oust him:

“Tonight, President Biden is in isolation as he is battling symptoms of COVID-19,” he said late Friday. “But he is also figuratively isolated as he now fights new calls from his own party to exit the 2024 race.”

“The party to which Biden has dedicated his life is unleashing a new and truly public effort to push him out of challenging Donald Trump for the White House. A slew of House Democrats have joined two top Democratic senators tonight to ask Biden to step aside,” he added.

And surprisingly, Pelosi seems to be behind much of it.

“All of this, we're told, has President Biden seething, tonight, with much of his anger directed at Nancy Pelosi,” Collins continued. “That's because some of the names calling for him to drop out of the race are his close allies.”
