The US government is calling for targeted assassinations of Hamas leaders

-

The United States is now calling for targeted assassinations of Hamas leaders in an attempt to rescue hostages taken in the genocidal acts against Israel on October 7.

Targeted assassination of Hamas leaders is not new for Israel. They take them out at every opportunity and the Mossad is in a class by itself when it comes to taking down terrorists. They have done it in Gaza and abroad. The difference between Israel and the US is that Israel does not brag or telegraph its military operations.

Despite this fact, American leaders felt that it was up to them to teach the Israelis a lesson and warn them that instead of a tactical raid aimed at driving Hamas members out of their tunnels and holes, they should focus on targeted assassinations of Hamas leaders, destroying its 300. mile tunnel network and rescuing the remaining 129 hostages.

“According to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, the change would be 'the transition to the next phase of operations.' of the US for Israel to return to targeted killings reinforces the normalization of this strategy, which it has employed since 1948 and more than any other nation, covering 2,300 operations in seven decades,” explained the Palestinian friend. Middle East Monitor reported

“As a result, Israel has entrenched two-level impunity that serves its colonization plans: targeted killings are now a political necessity, according to the US. And Israel's bombing of Gaza is now reduced to a preliminary phase, which consolidates the absence of responsibility”, added the medium.

This left-wing logic is echoed Associated Press no less, “US officials have called for operations aimed at killing Hamas leaders, destroying tunnels and rescuing hostages. US President Joe Biden warned on December 12 that Israel is losing international support because of its 'indiscriminate bombing'”.

“Too many civilians have been killed in Gaza, as the foreign ministers of France, Germany and the United Kingdom, among others, have pointed out. There is no doubt that we are witnessing an appalling lack of distinction in the military operation of “Israel in Gaza”.

The EU's high representative for foreign affairs, Josep Borrell, wrote to X. He is just one of many global critics of Israel's military operations.

Borrell wants another “humanitarian pause” to free the hostages. President Biden is pushing the same concept instead of eradicating Hamas.

While the Middle East Monitor labels Israel's retaliation as genocide, they conveniently forget that it was Hamas that attacked innocent Israelis, killing more than 1,200 of them on October 7 while taking hundreds of hostages. They raped, tortured and killed as they went. It is unfathomable that Israel is being asked to withdraw so that their enemies can regroup to kill them even more.

“Silence on Israel's genocide in Gaza speaks as loudly as statements promoting genocide through humanitarian pauses. More than 19,400 Palestinians have been killed since October 7 and 52,286 injured. According to Euro-Med Monitor, Israel increased its killing of Palestinian civilians by 40 percent since the end of the humanitarian pause,” the Middle East Monitor stated.

The United Nations has given the appearance of being anti-Israel in all of this. They have delayed a vote on a resolution calling for an end to all hostilities and the release of the remaining Israeli hostages. Even when the vote comes, it's unlikely to make a difference one way or the other. Hamas is not calling for a ceasefire. They are asking Israel to stop fighting them. There is a big difference. And in the end, the UN will continue to blame Israel.

The outrage spewing from the Middle East Monitor and other pro-Hamas media is unending.

“The US requested a softer tone, which resulted in an 'urgent and lasting cessation of hostilities' being reduced to an 'urgent suspension of hostilities.'” And on the other side of the world, just as invested in Israel's genocide of the Palestinians, Borrell's rhetoric is on par with that of the US. Humanitarian breaks have become normalized and the result is genocide. Meanwhile, Hamas resumes its position at the top of Israel's security narrative on Gaza,” the Middle East Monitor reported.

“And while Israel takes its time deciding when to stop bombing Gaza and proceed with targeted killings with the full blessings of the US, a status quo similar to the past is created. Never mind that a different scenario now exists: Gaza is utterly destroyed, its population killed, wounded and displaced at an unprecedented rate, the next phase of Israel's absolution is in full swing,” lamented the Middle East Monitor.
