During a speech by former President Donald Trump in Iowa, a plane flew overhead with a banner trying to troll him and former First Lady Melania Trump.
“On Tuesday, Trump held another rally in Waterloo, an Iowa city about 110 miles northeast of Des Moines. During the event, several reporters on the scene noted at one point that a plane fly overhead carrying behind them a banner with a message addressed to Melania Trump: “Melania knows.” Newsweek reported
It is not entirely clear what the banner actually meant. However, it appeared to be an act intended to annoy the former president and disrupt his rally. This isn't the first time a plane with a banner in Iowa has targeted the former president using his wife.
“While the banner seemed to imply that the former first lady had special behind-the-scenes knowledge of her husband's actions, likely of a darker nature, there is otherwise no concrete indication of what the message specifically referred to “, Newsweek. added

(REPOSTED to correct an autocorrect-induced typo that confused people; Melania is not a “fire” lady. LOL) pic.twitter.com/2bIL8eB2LQ

During a September rally for Trump in Iowa, another plane flew over Jack Trice Stadium just hours before Trump arrived and asked, “Where's Melania?”
It is unknown who is behind the targeting of Melania Trump and the former president. Trump is 35 to 40 points ahead of his closest challenger, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, for the nomination. Lefties, however, quickly jumped on the incident and mocked the favourite.
The Lincoln Project, which is rabidly anti-Trump, invited X's followers to guess the meaning of the message, asking to his face, “Any idea what he knows?”
The Never-Trump group scoffed: “Maybe Melania knew the Colorado decision was coming.”

This is a reference to the Colorado Supreme Court striking Trump out of the state's 2024 presidential vote. This measure will no doubt immediately reach the Supreme Court, as many conservatives claim it is blatantly unconstitutional.
We are a constitutional republic, not a democracy.
The ruling of the Colorado Supreme Court is not compatible with any form of government.

The left invokes “democracy” to justify its use of power, even if it means abusing the judiciary to remove a candidate from the ballot on spurious legal grounds. SCOTUS should reverse itself. https://t.co/D4pCzZ7FhY

Trump blocked the vote in Colorado. When a court in another country disqualifies an opposition candidate from running, we say, “That's not real democracy.” It's happening here now.

Trump's removal from the ballot in Colorado under this theory is bogus, probably unconstitutional, and a sadly predictable, but outrageous, form of law. SCOTUS should end this. https://t.co/VWJgPMndBi

PRESIDENT DEL SALVADOR OF THE SUPREME COURT OF COLORADO:
“The United States has lost its ability to lecture any other country on 'democracy'.”

Other reactions to the tweet were exactly what you'd expect from a number trying to link Trump to late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Others claimed that Melania Trump does not know why she is still married to Trump, while others tried to bring accusations of infidelity. None of this is new and it's all normal for the Lincoln Project and its supporters.
Iowa is critical to the Republican nomination if not vital. DeSantis has been endorsed by Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds and religious leader Bob Vander Plaats. But Trump still includes those who support him and could very well carry the state.
The former president also hasn't let the endless accusations and legal attacks from the left slow him down. In fact, the bank is being made off of it.

“Elsewhere at the rally, it was reported that Trump was selling numerous Christmas-themed merchandise featuring the mugshot taken of him after he turned himself in to authorities in his Georgia election tampering case. Trump has denied all violations in the case and has claimed it's an attempt to hurt his political chances in 2024,” Newsweek noted.
